working principle

After the concentrated sludge and a certain concentration of flocculant are fully mixed in a static and dynamic mixer, the small solid particles in the sludge are aggregated into a large flocculent mass, and free water is separated at the same time. The sludge is transported to a concentrated gravity dewatering filter belt. Free water is separated under the action of gravity to form sludge in a non-flowing state, and then clamped between the upper and lower mesh belts. After passing through the wedge-shaped pre-pressure zone, the Under the action of small to large squeezing and shearing forces in the zone and high pressure zone, the sludge is gradually squeezed to achieve the maximum degree of mud and water separation, and finally a filter cake is discharged.

1. Chemical pretreatment dehydration

In order to improve the dewaterability of sludge, improve the properties of filter cake, and increase the permeability of materials, chemical treatment of sludge is required. This machine uses a unique "water flocculation and granulation mixer" device to achieve chemical dosing and flocculation. Function, this method not only has good flocculation effect, but also saves a large amount of chemicals, has low running cost and obvious economic benefits.

2. Gravity dehydration section

The sludge is evenly fed into the mesh belt through the cloth bucket, and the sludge runs forward with the filter belt. The free water flows into the water receiving tank through the filter belt under its own weight. Gravity dehydration can also be said to be a highly concentrated section. Its main function is to remove sludge The free water in the medium reduces the fluidity of the sludge and prepares it for further extrusion.

3.Pre-pressure dewatering section of wedge zone

The fluidity of the sludge after gravity dehydration is almost completely lost. As the belt filter press moves forward, the distance between the upper and lower filter belts gradually decreases, and the material begins to receive slight pressure. As the filter belt runs, the pressure gradually increases. The role of the wedge-shaped zone is to extend the gravity dehydration time, increase the compression stability of the floc, and prepare for entering the pressure zone.

4.High-pressure dehydration section of squeeze roller

When the material leaves the wedge zone, it enters the pressure zone. The material is squeezed in this zone. The pressure along the running direction of the filter belt increases with the decrease of the diameter of the squeeze roller. The squeezed volume of the material shrinks. At this time, a filter cake is basically formed, and the water content of the filter cake can be reduced to a minimum after continuing to the high-pressure area at the pressure tail after passing the high pressure.

The above formula can be used in the calculation of different unit systems, but the value of k in the formula changes accordingly. The corresponding k value is in the range of 3.8 to 5.6. According to dozens of measured data from several domestic sewage treatment plants, the k value in the formula is quite stable, but it is related to the following factors:

The belt filter press has a higher k value and a lower rear seat. The k value of the first seat is about 10% to 20% higher than that of the last seat.

The value of k increases slightly as the thickness of the cane layer (fiber loading rate) increases, and is approximately proportional to its square root. When sugarcane pre-crushing is finer, the sugarcane layer is thinner and the k value is lower at the same amount of sugarcane.

The value of k is related to the type and efficiency of the prime mover and the transmission device; the value of k is lower for those using high-efficiency transmission devices.

The k value is related to the bearing loss of the belt filter press. If the bearing is heated, the k value is higher; the k value of the press that normally uses rolling bearings is lower.

The k value is related to the intermediate conveyor or feeder (feeder) attached to the belt filter press, and the k value is higher when the lower feeder is used.

The k value is related to the oil pressure rise and fall of the belt filter press. When the oil pressure does not rise, the k value is low (at this time, the oil pressure does not fully function). When the oil pressure increases but is not flexible, the k value is higher. [1]
